Reviewing the Royal 1600MX Crosscut Paper Shredder

A good way to help protect you identity from thieves is to shred all your old bank statements, receipts, credit cards, dvds, and cds. I found the Royal 1600MX Crosscut Paper Shredder at Sam’s Club for $99. It looked like nice upgrade from my last shredder that I purchased from Office Max for $45 and only shredded 4-5 sheets of paper at once. My new habit for sorting through my mail is to shred all my junk mail before it even goes into a storage drawer. It’s easier to deal with it as soon as I get it, instead of letting all the junk mail pile up and spending hours sorting through it all. I’ve heard it’s always a better idea to do a little bit a lot, instead of a’ lot a little bit. Another words, it’s time for me to start a new habit of dealing with the mail as soon as it comes in the house.
The Royal Shredder is very quiet and does crosscut shredding. I did test it on an old dvd and it worked good. One caution is to be aware that there are some sharp edges that can get mixed in with the paper and could cut you hand if you grab it too hard.
I hope you find this review informative and helpful. Thanks for watching. Please comment if you have any questions or have tried this product. Thank!

do you hear some sound of piece of metal rolling inside the shredder when it is not working?

I have the same shredder and it looks like your opened much easier than mine does. I do like how it performs though.
