Oculus Go doesn’t need a phone and it’s not much different from Gear VR, but it works well: we test it across both coasts.

Not sure how this will work without a phone unless its done with Bluetooth?
I see alot of potential in world building via VR.
Reminds me of PlayStation home for that game

As ever; VR is desperate to hold onto what remains of itself.
How good would it be to just watch movies on
I’d so mess with him on the street.
Would we be able to play vrchat on it?!
Do the controllers have motion tracking like Daydream View?
Is that Mi branding i saw ??3
If this headset ecosystem has any yoga or meditation apps, that I might consider it.:-)
Finally vr is safe this is a product that will be mainstream and will save vr in the long run
fancy gearvr ….neat
Trash this doesn’t have oled displays and it’s simi tethered you have to connect it to an app on your iOS or android device. And the battery is only 2 hour
Its screen is a 5.5-inch display with a 2560 x 1440 resolution (1280 x 1440 per eye). It’s based on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 processor from 2016, and the $199 base model includes 32GB of storage, with a 64GB version selling for $249.
what do the games cost ?
A standalone VR headset is a paperweight that will never sell. $200 to play old apps. The whole point is attaching it to a PC or Consoles for a full VR experience. Gaming is the only future of VR. Getting resolution higher, cost down, easy of usability and setup and reducing the computing power necessary to run them. That is it. This thing is useless and unnecessary.
We’re going to look at these in few years a be laughing about the size
Wish it can connect to a PC. 🙁
Can it play vr chat tho
